IIaW is looking for investors in the Rope Pump factory and its leasing system.
Deposit: minimum of €100
Period: 2 years
Guarantee pay back: 95% (due to WorldBank financing the start up costs)
A full lease-to-buy circle, where the fee collector can make a decent salary, starts at €10.000. 100 Rope-Pumps, when brought into a leasing system will give revenue of around €12.000 in 2 years. Monthly fees are expected to be around €5 for a well-user group (on average 15 families) or individuals. In 2 years the well-users own their pump and the investors can be paid back and enough revenue is left for 20 new pumps towards the start a new circle. Rope-Pump has a life cycle of at least 5 years and the maintenance cost is around €3 per year.
Although we believe strongly in our program and the business plan suggests making profits in 3 years time, we feel obliged to warn that in the unlikely event of failing we will not be able to return the investment. 
100 Rope Pumps will:
make the lives of around 7.500 people easier and their water quality better (less turbidity)
about 3000 women and girls who have the job to collect the daily family water needs will see a significant increase in available time for school and other work
approximately 500-1500 families have better quality water without sand and dirt so cooking, cleaning, rinsing, laundry and showering will improve
